BRAND NEW! We are now offering catering, bartending and 30-day coordination for your convenience.

14. Can we personalize our wedding ceremony and reception?

We want your wedding to reflect your personalities, priorities, and vision. Our combination of indoor and outdoor spaces offers different possibilities for ceremony layouts, reception designs, photography, and guest experiences.

During your tour, tell us what you envision. We can walk the property with you and discuss how the available spaces may work for your plans.

The Property and Guest Experience

15. Can we have an outdoor wedding ceremony?

Our property includes outdoor ceremony areas with scenic views of the lake and surrounding grounds. Couples can explore these spaces during their tour and discuss which setting best fits their wedding vision.

Because weather can affect outdoor events, ask us about the applicable backup arrangements when planning your ceremony.

16. What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

Weather is an important consideration for any outdoor wedding. Stillwater offers both indoor and covered spaces, giving couples options to discuss when planning their event.

The appropriate weather contingency depends on your layout, guest count, and rental arrangements. We'll explain the available options and help you understand what can be accommodated before you book.

17. Does Stillwater have a lake and fountain?

Yes! Our lake and fountain are among the property's most distinctive features. They create a peaceful setting for outdoor celebrations and a beautiful backdrop for wedding and family photographs.

Many of our Google reviewers specifically mention the scenery, the water, and the beauty of the grounds.  Don't forget the light kit on the fountain that sparkles on the water at night.

Booking a Tour

21. How do we schedule a tour?

We'd love to meet you! Contact The Venue at Stillwater Pond through our website to schedule a tour.

During your visit, Kevin or Richelle can walk you through the property, answer your questions, explain rental options, and help you envision your wedding day at Stillwater.

22. What should we bring or ask during our venue tour?

You don't need to have every detail figured out before visiting us. It helps to know your approximate wedding date, expected guest count, general budget, and the style of celebration you're imagining.

We recommend asking about:

  • Current pricing and rental inclusions

  • Available dates and rental hours

  • Vendor policies and insurance requirements

  • Weather contingency arrangements

  • Payment deadlines and security deposits

  • Setup, cleanup, and access times

Bring your questions, even if you're unsure where to begin. We're happy to help you work through them.

23. Are we obligated to book after taking a tour?

No. A tour is an opportunity to see the property, meet us, ask questions, and decide whether Stillwater is the right fit for you.

We encourage couples to make informed decisions and choose the venue that best suits their needs, priorities, and budget.

24. Why should we visit in person instead of relying on photographs?

Photographs can show the beauty of a venue, but an in-person visit lets you experience the property's layout, views, atmosphere, and spaces for yourself.

You can walk beside the lake, see the fountain, explore the indoor event space, and talk directly with the people who will help you plan your celebration.

We believe that personal connection is an important part of finding the right venue.
